Desperation

I have lost a lot in my life.  I entered my 30's in turmoil, having lost important people in my life and going through tough times.  A lot of these situation had to do with choices, choices of mine, choices of others.  I felt the presence of God, loved him and served him, and yet I failed to hear  if my choices were explicitly right or wrong.  There is so much noise out there.

I look back, and for some of these things I still don't have the answers.  But what I do know is that God was with me. I was never alone in my pain, in my turmoil, in my loneliness.  God made me brave at the times I would have crumpled, Holy Spirit urged me on, day after day.

There is so much pain, sickness, and craziness in the world.  Sometimes it feels despairing.  But I felt Jesus say, " Do not despair dear one.  Keep on going, as I endured the cross I was ultimately victorious. "

Let me pray for you right now:

Lord, I pray for my dear friend who is a desperate situation.  Light their way with your glory and presence.  Put praise on their lips for your goodness and open for them the floodgates of thanksgiving.   Help them to recognize that if they give this situation to you, that justice is yours.  Protect them from being enticed by the devil to be bitter and hateful.  Cover them and protect them by the Blood of Jesus.  Bring them victory.   Amen.

Psalm 20:5
May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests.

When you are victorious, the whole Kingdom of Heaven celebrates.

It is Yours to Overcome

Dated Jan 9, 2012

These are the days when things really, really matter. What you do now, what you say now, what you will trust me with will determine your future. Have faith dear heart, for I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD AND I GIVE IT TO YOU TO COMMAND.

You will not miss it. My voice, my word. Dream about where the world would be if the desperation left. My winds of change are coming, and though you have been stripped, you are STEEL strong. Let my love overtake you and turn the tide of what looks to be disastrous. It will not turn you in but loose you out. I have overcome the the world and you shall not be turned out of it. Thus saith The Lord, God of the Angel Armies.

What you do matters to my heart, you will see the heaven's open over you. What matters to my heart? That you LOVE ME. LOVE ME. LOVE ME. And know that I am with you. Declare it. You are an overcomer.

YOU SHALL PROSPER. YOU SHALL MULTIPLY. YOU SHALL LIVE THE DREAMS IN YOUR HEART.

See the wind, hear the wind, touch the wind. It's power is real. You may not see it, but you see what it does, and it orders the world. This upside-down Kingdom. You will see by the wind all that I am doing for you.

This isn't a nightmare you wake up from, it's one you overcome by my blood.

Stand Firm!

Ephesians 6:13-18

New International Version (NIV)
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

 Exodus 14:13

Amplified Bible (AMP)
13Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again.

Prayer for Victory in 2012

Isaiah 61

The Message (MSG)

Isaiah 61

Announce Freedom to All Captives
1-7 The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me because God anointed me.
He sent me to preach good news to the poor,
   heal the heartbroken,
Announce freedom to all captives,
   pardon all prisoners.
God sent me to announce the year of his grace—
a celebration of God's destruction of our enemies—
and to comfort all who mourn,
To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion,
give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes,
Messages of joy instead of news of doom,
a praising heart instead of a languid spirit.
Rename them "Oaks of Righteousness"
planted by God to display his glory.

34"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

Christian? Stressed and Anxious? Word for You!

Romans 5:3

The Message (MSG)
3-5There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!
