I Forgot My Bread and Fish

Why was it that when Jesus was feeding the 4ooo and the 5000 that all of those people never managed to bring provision for themselves? If you were taking your family or your child or even yourself out, wouldn't you think to go out and get the necessary provisions? And if some reason you hadn't, wouldn't you think of leaving a lot earlier so that you wouldn't faint on the way?

Or do you think that all of this happened so I could show my mercy to those people? That they would receive without having given anything? Or think of the little boy whose mom did have enough sense to pack him some food...he, a child gave away everything he had.

This is what I am asking my precious child. Give me what you have so that I can multiply it back with mercy and provision. I never took that little boy's house, or his dad's donkey. It was that he had open hands, and when I asked of him, he gave. You must be willing to give me all, but not in the way that I am in need to take and leave you penniless, homeless. It's in the way that I am the God of this universe...all is mine. It blesses me and gives me glory when your hearts are turned towards me unselfishly, ready to help, ready to give. But you see, that is my virtue. If you have that virtue, it is because you are my child and I have given you my heart.

I am always ready to give, ready to multiply like I did through my son. It is the condition of your hearts that I look upon to make that happen.

This was a miracle to test people's hearts. When I fed all of them, they wanted to crown me king right away...because I had met there need for a day? What I really wanted was for them to walk with me, to get to know me. To be devoted to me instead of their stomach's or their own needs. Do you realize how fast a full stomach will become hungry again? How fast needs can change? But if you stick with me, I will provide for it all. By first for your heart, which needs my spirit feeding it.

AAAHHH...BREAK LOOSE!

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall receive them. Mark 11:24

New levels of freedom. Not only have I removed you from your distant past I am creating a future for you far beyond your own expectations. The reason why I often take you from the expected path is because I want to show you who I am. I need to get you alone...away from yourself, your expectations. I create a place for you to be open to me....and then I show you my goodness. Oh my goodness. Oh so wonderful. I desire that you would see through your circumstances into my intentions. I am a GOOD father to you, I have so much to tell you.

See me through the eyes of your past, of your expected future and surely you will miss me, because I am here with you now even as you are reading this. Can you feel my breathe on your face, my warring companions by your side, my eyes burning with a holy jealousy and fire to reach you, to touch you, to know you. ...That you would know me.

I do not wait on some wimpy sideline in anticipation. The pressure is on. I am here now. I come victorious and full of passion and love for you... That you would turn and see me, feel me, touch me. Hope in me and darkness is lost forever. Hope in me and death is gone. Hope in me and you will find your true self, the dreams and the visions of what is here now and what is waiting to come.

This holy love is like a dam waiting to break over you. To burn you with holy fire and make your skin bronze and golden like the stars in the sky. Burning like my eyes that you could never live through seeing if I did not veil myself. Oh, but I am here. The time has come when I will come like a roaring lion. I will devour your enemies and breathe my breathe of life into your chest. You will no longer suffocate but become acutely aware of a whole world, a whole reality of a kingdom for you to exist in. Come, I will show you these things. Just say, "Yes Jesus." Come Jesus.

You're Weak When You Wake Up

don't panic. i'm with you. there's no need to fear for i'm your God. i'll give you strength. i'll help you. i'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. isaiah 41:10...the message

The world is trying to stay awake. Always buzzing, always busy, always wanting.
I want you to rest. The grim realization is that when you are weak you will rest. When you are sick you will rest. The strong see no need for rest, the healthy want to "go about it."

Another shift in the paradigm- be strong and rest. I give strength to the weary...but I also give strength to the strong. I am talking about God strong; where your weaknesses become strength because you give me the authority to overcome them.

Let me be your Popeye...let his spinach be your prayers releasing my strength and authority...
